Resumption signal
Two repeated short signal tones mean play may resume.
Distance markers
Sprinkler-head distances are measured in metres to the front, middle or back of the green; fairway plates measure to the front.
Pin positions
Current pin positions are available from the service centre.
Out of bounds
Out of bounds is marked by white stakes; the kerb beside and behind the 9th and 18th greens is also out of bounds.
Serious misconduct
Serious misconduct can include deliberately damaging a green, moving markers, throwing a club toward another person, repeatedly refusing to lift a ball that interferes, deliberate rule breaches for advantage, or repeated abusive language; the competition committee may impose disqualification.
Internal out of bounds on hole 6
When playing hole 6 on the Championship Course, hole 5 on the left is out of bounds as marked by white stakes; for other holes those stakes are immovable obstructions.
Immediate danger signal
One long signal tone means play must stop immediately because of danger.
Immovable obstructions
Hedges next to cart paths form part of the cart paths and are treated under the immovable-obstruction rule.
Animal droppings
Animal droppings may be treated as loose impediments; a ball with droppings attached may be lifted and cleaned without penalty except in a hazard, then must be replaced after marking its position.

Use the course markings carefully: internal out of bounds, cart-path boundaries and animal-dropping relief can materially change the correct procedure.
