Out of bounds markers
Out of bounds is marked by white stakes and, where needed, white lines; the inside of the stone wall from the practice green to tee 58 is also the boundary.
Penalty areas and infinite boundaries
Penalty areas are marked by red stakes, plates and/or lines. The red areas behind hole 11 green and to the left/right of hole 3 fairway, plus left of hole 15 fairway, are infinite.
Ground under repair
Blue stakes/plates or other notices identify GUR; white spray lines define its boundary. Washed bunker channels, anthills and gravel-filled drainage strips are also abnormal conditions.
Hole 11 fence relief restriction
When taking Rule 16.1 relief from the fence toward hole 12 while playing hole 11, the nearest point of complete relief must be determined without crossing over, through or under the net.
Immovable distance markers
Yellow-black 150-metre stakes and fairway distance plates are immovable manufactured objects.
Motorised transport in competitions
Motorised transport is prohibited during a competition round unless approved by the committee, with stated exceptions.
Suspension and resumption signals
A long signal means dangerous-situation suspension; three repeated signals mean other suspension; two repeated signals mean resumption.
