Out of bounds
Out of bounds is defined by the walls, white stakes and boundary fences bordering the course.
Penalty areas
Red stakes define lateral penalty areas and yellow stakes define penalty areas.
Relief at palm trees
When the ball rests against or on the palm-tree base, free relief is one club-length, no nearer the hole.
Immovable obstructions
Cart paths, paved drainage ditches and sprinklers are treated as immovable obstructions.
Ground under repair
Areas marked with blue stakes are ground under repair and play is prohibited from those areas.
Buggy path restriction
Buggies must remain on the path when near tees and greens.

Major Risks
Protected areas Biotopes and no-play zones can remove the direct line and require rule-based relief. Boundary holes Out of bounds affects holes 9, 10 and 13–18, including roads and paths on 17 and 18.
