Check-in before play
All players must check in at the Pro Shop 30 minutes before their tee time and collect a validated receipt.
Golf-cart driver requirement
Golf carts may not be driven by anyone without a valid driver’s licence.
Pairing and maintenance
The club may pair golfers to maintain speed of play and applies a minimum two-ball policy. Routine maintenance occurs throughout the year and may affect play.

Course Character
The Black River and Vygekraal River, tree-lined corridors and compact greens make positioning more important than simply chasing distance. Expect the course to reward controlled approaches and careful bunker strategy. Rondebosch Golf Club is a long-established Cape Town parkland course with tree-lined fairways, small greens, more than 40 bunkers and two rivers crossing the lower part of the layout. Major Risks
Protected areas Biotopes and no-play zones can remove the direct line and require rule-based relief. Boundary holes Out of bounds affects holes 9, 10 and 13–18, including roads and paths on 17 and 18.
