Ground under repair and no-play zones
Blue stakes identify ground under repair. Blue stakes with green tops identify a no-play zone; white spray lines define the boundary. Bunker washouts, ant hills and young supported trees have the stated special status.
Immovable obstructions
White-line connected areas, stationary robot mowers, distance plates and certain near-green objects are immovable obstructions with Rule 16.1 relief.
Out of bounds
The course boundary is defined by white markings. On holes 1, 2, 4, 13 and 18 the markings are behind the protective nets.
Penalty areas
Penalty areas are defined by red or yellow stakes or plates. The red areas right of holes 6 and 7 and behind hole 12 are infinite; the red area right of hole 18 coincides with the course boundary.
Scorecard certification
Submitting a competition scorecard without hole scores certified by the player, marker or both receives the general penalty on the final hole.
Motorised transport in competition
Motorised transport is prohibited during a competition round unless approved; the general penalty applies per hole of breach.
