Local Rules
Out of bounds
Boundary fences, walls, white stakes and roads around the course define out of bounds; roads by greens 2, 9 and 18 remain out of bounds even if the ball returns to the course.
Water hazards
All streams, dams and drains are treated as water hazards even when unmarked; yellow stakes indicate water and red stakes lateral water.
Ground under repair
Blue stakes or white circles identify ground under repair.
Immovable obstructions
Benches, concrete refuse bins, stone walls and clearly constructed cart paths are immovable obstructions with one-club relief from the nearest point of relief.
Newly planted trees
Staked trees or shrubs allow one-club relief from the nearest point of relief; gardens do not provide relief.
Road crossing hole 7
Free relief is available from the road crossing hole 7, within one club length of the nearest point of relief and not nearer the hole.
Drop zone hole 7
When a ball is known or virtually certain to have entered the hazard, the hole 7 drop zone beside the hazard across the road is available.
Drop zone hole 8
The hole 8 drop zone may be used for a ball entering any lateral water hazard when playing hole 8.
Cart restrictions
Motorised carts are not permitted on greens, tees or fringes; follow signs and use sand bags.

Protected areas Biotopes and no-play zones can remove the direct line and require rule-based relief. Boundary holes Out of bounds affects holes 9, 10 and 13–18, including roads and paths on 17 and 18.

Biotopes Know the hole 4 drop-zone condition before choosing relief. Water Enjoy the scenery, but let the marked boundaries and protected areas dictate the safe line.
