Out of bounds and hole 1 line
Out of bounds is marked by white stakes, fences or walls; where a white line marks the boundary it takes precedence. On hole 1, the right-side out-of-bounds line applies only to play on hole 1 and continues indefinitely in the indicated direction.
Penalty area at holes 6 and 12
The water-side edge of the natural-stone wall at the ponds by greens 6 and 12 defines the penalty-area boundary.
