Out of bounds and internal out of bounds
Boundaries use fences, walls, white stakes or lines; internal out of bounds applies only to holes 4 and 9, and the stakes are immovable obstructions on holes 5–8.
Immovable obstructions
Asphalt or concrete paths and the hole 15 toilets are immovable obstructions.
Preferred lies (Model E-3)
For a ball in fairway-height or shorter grass, one club-length placing relief is available once, in the general area and no nearer the hole.
Transport policy modification
The RFGA 2025 transport policy exception is in force for senior players.
