Out of bounds
Course boundaries are defined by white lines and stakes, fences, supporting walls and constructions delimiting the course.
Ground under repair
Piled pine needles, leaves, cones, branches, grass or weeds are ground under repair and loose impediments.
Penalty areas and optional drop zones
Plank edges define penalty-area margins; hole 8 has two optional drop zones for balls crossing red-and-white stakes, and hole 12 has an optional zone for balls behind the green.
Automowers
A ricocheted or deflected ball is played as it lies; a moved ball is replaced on its original spot.
Preferred lies: 20 centimetres
Committee procedure E-3 applies: place within 20 centimetres.
Penalty for breach
Stroke play: two strokes; match play: loss of hole.

Major Risks
Protected areas Biotopes and no-play zones can remove the direct line and require rule-based relief. Boundary holes Out of bounds affects holes 9, 10 and 13–18, including roads and paths on 17 and 18.
