Out of bounds
Out of bounds is defined by the line between white posts, including the driving-range and eastern-field boundaries.
Unmarked ditches
All unmarked ditches are red penalty areas; the boundary is where the ground breaks down toward the ditch.
Young trees as prohibited zones
Young trees marked with orange bands, support stakes or blue-top green stakes are prohibited zones; take relief under Rule 16.1f when they interfere with stance or swing.
Ground under repair
Areas marked by blue stakes or otherwise identified as ground under repair are abnormal ground conditions; blue-top green stakes also identify prohibited zones requiring relief.
