Blue-line areas, out-of-play temporary greens and marked young trees are no play zones requiring relief.
Out of bounds
Beyond boundary walls, fences, hedges or white stakes, including the greenskeepers compound, clubhouse and car park, is out of bounds.
Penalty areas
Yellow and red stakes or lines define penalty areas; dropping zones, where provided, are additional relief options.
Suspension of play horn signals
One prolonged blast means dangerous stop; three short blasts normal suspension; two short blasts resumption.
