Local Rules
Out of bounds
Beyond the inside face of boundary walls, fences or white stakes; on or beyond a white boundary line; or in/beyond the grip in front of the car park, clubhouse and practice putting green.
Garden areas by tees
Play is prohibited from garden areas adjoining the 2nd, 10th and 11th tee beds; relief is required under Rule 16.1 when the ball, stance or swing is affected.
Temporary local rules
Temporary rules such as preferred lies or relief for aeration holes/slits may be introduced and will be clearly displayed when in force.
Yellow penalty area between holes 5 and 6
The yellow penalty area is defined by the outside edge of the surrounding fence.
Extended wrong-green relief area
For Rule 13.1f relief, the wrong green includes fairway within one club length of the edge of the putting green on all holes.
Protection of young trees
Young trees identified by stakes are no play zones; relief must be taken under Rule 16.1f.
Immovable obstructions
Artificial roads, paths, buildings, stone-filled or plastic-covered drainage ditches, posts, and distance/direction markers are immovable obstructions unless defined as integral objects; Rule 16.1 relief may apply.
Integral walls and fences
All walls and fences on the course are integral objects; play the ball as it lies or take penalty relief under Rule 8.1.
Fixed sprinkler heads
Fixed sprinkler heads are immovable obstructions; Rule 16.1b relief applies when the published line-of-play, putting-green and ball distance conditions are all met.
Ground under repair
Any area enclosed by a white line is ground under repair.
Dog dung
At the player’s option, dog dung may be removed as a loose impediment under Rule 15.1 or treated as ground under repair with Rule 16.1 relief.

Changing weather and lies Wet conditions can alter traction, rollout and whether temporary relief rules are active. GUR and marked bunkers The club distinguishes ordinary bunkers from bunkers specifically marked as GUR, so check stakes and notices. Protected areas and fences The hole 5 protective fence and marked course-protection features have specific relief consequences. Wrong greens Greens 3, 5 and 10 have an extended wrong-green fringe relief requirement.
