Penalty areas
Red stakes mark lateral penalty areas and yellow stakes mark frontal penalty areas.
Course boundaries
Club boundaries generally define the course, supplemented by out-of-bounds notices and white stakes.
Ground under repair and protected trees
Roped or limed areas are ground under repair and protected growing trees marked with blue stakes or bands provide relief.
