Out of bounds is beyond the bounding hedge, fence or white posts, and includes the centre, car park/patio and greenkeepers compound.
Water and lateral water hazards
Yellow stakes or markings define water hazards; red stakes or markings define lateral water hazards.
Immovable and movable obstructions
Artificial roads and paths, fixed course furniture and staked trees are immovable obstructions; stones in bunkers are movable obstructions.
Ground under repair and drainage channels
Blue stakes, continuous white lines and tyre ruts through the green mark GUR; drainage channels on fairways and first-cut rough are abnormal ground conditions.
Public footpaths and cycle paths
Public and cycle footpaths cross or run alongside holes 1, 3, 13 and 15; play only when safe.
Lost-ball retrieval from water
Players must not attempt to retrieve lost balls from water hazards.
