Temporary Water in Bunkers
Where wet conditions completely flood a bunker and relief cannot be taken inside it, the committee may designate that bunker as GUR within the general area on a case-by-case basis, allowing relief without penalty.
Penalty for Breach
Breach of the stated Local Rules carries the general penalty: loss of hole in match play and two strokes in stroke play.
Preferred Lies (Not Currently in Force)
When activated, a ball in a fairway-height-or-less part of the general area may be placed once within 6 inches, not nearer the hole, after marking the original position and using the replacement procedure. The page states this winter rule is not in force as of 1 May 2025.
