Badger Sets and GUR
Badger sets on the 8th marked with red posts/black tops and white-marked GUR are no play zones; the stated Rule 16 relief applies.
Overhead Cables
If a ball hits an overhead line or cable, the stroke does not count and the player must replay from the previous position without penalty under Rule 14.6.
Woodshed, Farm Cart and Protected Trees
The woodshed and farm cart on holes 14 and 15 are immovable obstructions; plastic-guarded young trees right of the 10th require relief under Rule 16.1f.
Out of Bounds
Beyond course boundaries, boundary hedges/fences, and the course-side edge of the wall or paved area beyond the 18th green is out of bounds.
Pylons, Roads and Paths
All pylons and artificially surfaced roads and paths are immovable obstructions with free relief under Rule 16.1.
Penalty Areas
All penalty areas are defined by yellow or red stakes.
Penalty for Breach
Breach carries the general penalty: loss of hole in match play and two strokes in stroke play.
Fixed Sprinkler Heads
Relief is available under Rule 16.1; additional line-of-play relief applies within two club-lengths of the green and ball unless the chosen line is clearly unreasonable.
