Course Intelligence
Course Character
The course’s visual identity comes from contrast: carefully maintained fairways and greens sit within a naturally dry, open valley landscape. Mountain proximity, sparse rough areas and water-conscious course management give the round a distinctly Northern California character. Tracy Golf and Country Club is an 18-hole course in California’s Central Valley at the eastern base of the Diablo Mountains. Its drier climate supports a desert-like landscape, with Bermuda fairways and greens and a focus on maintaining challenging putting surfaces. Desert-edge golf beneath the Diablo Mountains
