Wind, firm surfaces and the need to manage carries make placement more important than simply hitting for distance. Wildhorse Golf Club is an 18-hole public course in Henderson, redesigned by Brian Curley and Lee Schmidt. Its desert setting combines rugged terrain, water hazards, landscaped areas and a long local history dating back to the early Las Vegas golf scene. A classic Las Vegas desert course where rugged ground, reclaimed-water landscaping and eight water hazards create a strategic municipal-golf challenge.
