Birs-Golf official Local Rules
Out of bounds is marked by white stakes or white ground markings; the bank-protection zone right of holes 5, 6 and 7 is out of bounds. A ball striking a high-voltage line must be replayed from the original spot without penalty. Trees and shrubs beside the driving range, all paths, and stone piles beside holes 1, 3 and 4 are immovable obstructions. Ground under repair requires free relief. Do not play when pedestrians are in the danger area, especially on holes 2, 3 and 4. Green distance posts with one ring indicate 100 metres and two rings 150 metres to the front of the green.

Regulations
Birs-Golf course and operating regulations
The official operating regulation is binding on all players. Tee times are required, may be booked up to seven days ahead, and must be cancelled at least 24 hours ahead; guests must register at reception and carry the scorecard issued for their booking. Players must follow course signage and Birs-Golf instructions, give greenkeeping priority, provide an accepted playing-eligibility certificate, keep phones silent, and may not use range balls on the 9-hole course. Dogs are allowed subject to the separate dog document; violations can result in temporary or indefinite exclusion.
