Out of bounds
Beyond any white posts, wall, fence, hedge or course boundary is out of bounds.
Course etiquette and safety
Play without delay, replace divots, repair pitchmarks, rake bunkers and remain alert for pedestrians on paths crossing or beside the course.
Suspension of play
One prolonged klaxon blast means immediate suspension for danger; two shorter blasts signal that play may recommence.
Hole 7 teaching area
The right hand side of the 7th fairway is out of bounds because it is a teaching area.
Staked trees
If a staked tree interferes with stance or swing, lift and drop within one club-length without penalty, not nearer the hole.
Hole 15 path and sleepers
A ball on the cart path or against the sleepers in front of the 15th green may be dropped in the drop zone left of the green without penalty.
Penalty areas
The ponds on holes 1, 9, 12, 13, 15, 17 and 18 are penalty areas; all ditches on the course are penalty areas.
Winter rules
When in operation, a fairway ball may be lifted, cleaned and placed within 6 inches of its original spot, no nearer the hole.
Drainage lines
A ball in a drainage line in the general area may be lifted and dropped within one club-length of complete relief, no nearer the hole, without penalty.
GUR bunker
A bunker marked GUR loses hazard status; play as it lies or drop outside the bunker at the nearest point, no nearer the hole, without penalty.
No Play Zone
A ball in an area marked NPZ must not be played as it lies and must be dropped outside the defined NPZ, no nearer the hole, without penalty.
