Overhead cables: sixth hole
If a ball strikes the overhead cables on the sixth, disregard the stroke, abandon the ball and play another ball from as near the original spot without penalty under Rule 14.6.
Out of bounds: second tee and fairway
The ditch to the right of the second tee identified by white posts, and the area beyond the wire and white posts to the right of the second fairway, are out of bounds.
Out of bounds: right of third hole
Beyond the white posts or white-line-painted tree trunks to the right of the third hole is out of bounds.
Out of bounds: fourth ditch and green fence
The ditch left of the fourth and the fence behind the fourth green, where identified by white posts, are out of bounds.
Out of bounds: beck beside holes five to eight
In or over the beck left of holes five, six, seven and eight is out of bounds.
Out of bounds: boundary fence or wall
Beyond any boundary fence or wall is out of bounds.
Out of bounds: fifth-hole pathway exit
Beyond the white markers at the pathway exit from the fifth hole is out of bounds.
Penalty areas
The ditches behind the first and ninth greens are red lateral penalty areas; other yellow-posted ditches are penalty areas.
Protection of young trees
A staked young tree that interferes with the ball, stance or swing requires free relief under the prescribed procedure; the ball may be cleaned.
