Out of bounds and no-play zone on hole 9
Out of bounds is marked by white stakes or lines. On hole 9, white stakes with green tops define a no-play zone; a player may not enter it and must take relief under Rule 16 when it interferes with a ball, stance or swing.
Penalty-area drop zones on holes 13 and 15
Behind the greens on holes 13 and 15, the designated drop zone is an additional relief option for a ball in, or virtually certain to be in, the penalty area, with one penalty stroke.
Ground under repair and robot mowers
Anthills, exposed stones or rock at fairway height, and bunker damage from running water are ground under repair. Robot mowers in charging stations or stopped on the course are immovable obstructions.
Transport, suspension and scorecard conditions
Motorized transport is prohibited during a competition round except where permitted by the committee or an applicable exemption. A long siren means immediate danger, three short signals suspend play, and two short signals resume play. An uncertified scorecard attracts the general penalty.
