Local Rules
Out of bounds – white markers and roads
Out of bounds is marked by white posts or lines; the right edge of the paved road defines the boundary left of holes 2 and 16, and the green-side edge defines the boundary behind hole 2.
Internal out of bounds – holes 8 and 7
The internal boundary between holes 8 and 7 applies only when playing hole 8.
Penalty areas – yellow and red markers
Penalty areas are identified by yellow or red posts and/or lines.
Ground under repair
Ground under repair is marked by blue posts and/or white lines and relief must be taken.
Immovable obstructions
Immovable obstructions include paved/gravel paths, tree stakes and guards, hole 7/8 boundary stakes when playing hole 7, and stone slabs in fairways 1, 8 and 12–18.
Integral paths and bark areas
Other paths, stone piles and bark-mulch areas are integral parts of the course; the ball must be played as it lies.
Seasonal preferred lie
From November 1 through March 31, a ball on a closely mown area may be placed within one scorecard width, not nearer the hole and not in a hazard or on a green.
Distance markers
Green posts with white, red and yellow caps indicate 100, 150 and 200 metres to the front of the green.
