Out of bounds
Out of bounds follows the course-side line of white stakes, fence posts, hedges and painted white boundary lines.
Immovable obstructions
Extra relief applies when an obstruction is on the line of play and within two club-lengths of both green and ball.
No play zones
Blue-line areas, cultivated flower beds and protected young trees are no-play zones; Rule 16.1f relief is required.
Competition transportation
In club competitions, motorised transport is prohibited unless approved by the Competition Secretary.
Suspension and resumption of play
A prolonged horn note signals dangerous suspension; three notes signal other suspension; two short notes signal resumption.
