Suspension and resumption signals
Immediate suspension for danger is signalled by one long siren. Other suspensions use three short signals repeatedly, and resumption uses two short signals repeatedly. Players may also suspend themselves for lightning danger.
Out of bounds marking
Out of bounds is marked by white stakes. Where white lines mark the course boundary, the lines take precedence.
Abnormal conditions and immovable objects
Freshly laid sod and gravel-filled drainage ditches are abnormal course conditions. Stone sandstone boulders beside the holes are immovable obstructions.
