Course markings and temporary greens
White stakes mark out of bounds, red stakes penalty areas, blue stakes ground under repair, and a green top marks a no-play area. Distance plates are immovable obstructions. If temporary greens are in use, the normal green is a wrong green; if more than two temporary greens are used, the round is not handicap-counting.
