Local Rules
Abnormal ground conditions
Artificial paths, steps and winter tees, staked trees, sprinkler heads, drains around tees, the road around the ninth green, stone drains around greens, and white-lined or white-staked areas are treated as abnormal ground conditions as specified by the club.
Protected natural habitat areas
Blue posts identify important natural habitat. A ball in or touching such an area, or where it interferes with stance or swing, requires mandatory relief to the nearest point of full relief, not nearer the hole.
Out of bounds boundary
The boundary is beyond any line of white stakes, or beyond any hedge, fence or bank forming the course boundary.
Penalty areas
Penalty areas are defined by red or yellow stakes.
Practice ground exception
Because there is no practice ground, Rule 5.2b is waived. A competitor may use the course before a competition, except the greens.
Preferred lies through the green
When this temporary rule is in operation, a ball may be marked, lifted, cleaned and replaced within six inches, not nearer the hole, anywhere on the course except in a hazard or bunker.
