Local Rules
Out of bounds boundaries
White lines or stakes, fences or white-painted electric-fence supports, then constructions and asphalt-road kerbs define the boundary.
Penalty-area drop zones
Optional drop zones are available on holes 5 and 10 for balls in the penalty area.
Ball placement 20 centimetres
When Committee Procedure E-3 applies, the ball may be placed within 20 centimetres.
Abnormal course conditions
All course paths are treated as abnormal course conditions; specified tree rings and bunker wool linings give limited relief.
Course Intelligence
Course Character
The course rewards planning more than brute force: identify the safe side of each penalty area, account for uneven lies and use the wider landing area when the aggressive line offers little scoring advantage. Torremirona Golf Club is an 18-hole resort course in Navata, Girona, set in the Catalan countryside near the Pyrenees. Its layout combines open landscape, water features, undulating ground and contrasting visual holes. A strategic Catalan resort course with varied terrain
Major Risks
Penalty areas and boundary lines The official local rules define detailed out-of-bounds boundaries and penalty-area procedures; confirm the marked edge before taking relief. Uneven lies and variable surfaces Recent golfer feedback mentions undulating terrain, fairway bumps and variable bunker surfaces, making contact and landing-zone choice important.
Blue Tee Strategy
Confirm the active tee markers, hole routing and current local-rule notices. Use the optional drop zones on holes 5 and 10 only as the additional one-stroke relief option described by the club. On hole 18, read the paint, stakes and wooden-plank boundary in the order specified by the local rule. Keep protected areas, roads and boundary lines outside the preferred miss. Position through the Catalan resort landscape
