Penalty areas: lakes, streams, waste areas and planter beds
Lakes and streams use the water edge at normal level. North Course waste areas use the turf/DG edge and are penalty areas. South Course planter beds are penalty areas and no-play zones.
Rock walls designated as immovable obstructions
Specified rock walls on South holes 7, 9, 13 and 18 and North holes 7 and 15 are immovable obstructions under Rule 16.1.
Out of bounds: stakes and hardscape edges
When stakes are present, OB is defined by their inside edges; otherwise hardscape edges such as roads, fences and landscape liners determine OB.
Optional drop areas on hole 7
Designated optional drop areas are available on North hole 7 and South hole 7 for regular and tournament play.
