Cart paths and obstructions
All cart paths with artificial surfaces and surrounding sandy or worn areas are obstructions; relief is under Rule 16, with stance and swing relief only.
Ground under repair
Ground under repair is designated by white lines or ropes around construction, newly seeded or sodded, water-damaged, or damaged closely mown areas; proceed under Rule 16-1.
Out of bounds by hole
Out of bounds: white boundary stakes on the left side of hole 16, and the roads to the left of holes 8, 15, and 17 are out of bounds.
Hole 15 drop area
On hole 15, the drop area behind the pond may be used as an option for any ball entering the pond.
Penalty areas
Penalty areas are marked with yellow or red stakes; unmarked tall grass or dense foliage is played as a red penalty area.
Integral cart-path features
Walls, rocks, and shrubs around cart paths are integral parts of the cart path and relief is allowed.
Paved areas near clubhouse and holes 2/7
If a ball lies in the paved area around the clubhouse or pro shop, parking lot, or entry road left of hole 2 or 7, bring it back into play near where it left the grass without penalty.
