Concrete paths outside water hazards and distance markers are immovable obstructions with free relief.
Irrigation and supported-tree relief
Sprinklers, drainage wells, drip irrigation pipes, water stations and supported trees are immovable obstructions with free relief.
Red and yellow stakes
Red and yellow stakes are treated as immovable obstructions with free relief under the published local rule.
Out of bounds – course and resort boundaries
Out of bounds is defined by white stakes, fences and wooden stakes separating the course from private plots and resort roads.
Hole 18 boundary near hole 9
The stakes between the hole 9 and hole 18 fairways are out of bounds only when playing hole 18.
Hole 13 boundary interpretation
To the right of hole 13 between its green and hole 18 fairway, the area is not out of bounds for hole 13 but is out of bounds for hole 18.
Do not play from pond liner
Playing a ball resting inside the lake on the impermeable pond liner is prohibited.
