Out of bounds – sheep fence and driving-range fence
The sheep fence and the green driving-range fence define out of bounds up to their connection near hole 7; the sheep fence on both sides of the access road between holes 4 and 5 is also the boundary.
Out of bounds – access road between holes 4 and 5
A ball lying on or beyond the access road between holes 4 and 5 is out of bounds even if it lies on another part of the course.
Distance plates and 150-metre beech logs
White, yellow and red distance plates and sawn beech logs marking 150 metres to the centre of the green are immovable obstructions with free relief under Rule 16.1b.
Safety around sheep and maintenance staff
Do not play a shot that risks hitting maintenance staff or sheep; sheep are treated as course workers.
Safety restriction on tees 1 and 7
From the yellow tees on holes 1 and 7, do not tee off when players are on or near greens 9 and 6 respectively.
