Boundaries and penalty areas
Out of bounds is marked by white stakes, ground markers or white-topped electric-fence posts. Red penalty areas are marked by red stakes or markers; specified areas are infinite at holes 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 15 and 16.
Electric fence relief
When the ball lies on the course within two club-lengths of the electric boundary fence on holes 4 through 9, free relief is available under Rule 16.1 from the specified reference point.
GUR and integral objects
Blue stakes or white spray lines identify ground under repair; blue stakes with green tops identify no-play zones. Artificial bunker underlay and artificial walls directly adjoining bunker edges are integral objects.
Suspension and resumption signals
A long signal suspends play for dangerous conditions; three repeated signals suspend for other reasons; two repeated signals signal resumption.

Keep approaches below the hole whenever possible and favor reliable placement through the wooded corridors. Recheck the scorecard’s current par and hole setup, especially at the new par-5 17th. Vassunda Golfklubb lies south of Uppsala in a peaceful natural setting. Forest corridors, rolling ground and small, fast, undulating greens define the challenge; the course also changed to par 73 in June 2026 when hole 17 became a par 5.
