Course markers
White markers and arrowed white posts define out of bounds; red markers penalty areas; blue markers ground under repair; green tops no-play areas.
Asphalt roads define out of bounds
The course-near edge of any asphalt road defines the out-of-bounds boundary.
Marked posts and stones as immovable obstructions
Blue and red stakes and painted distance stones are treated as immovable obstructions; relief under Rule 16.1, not Rule 15.2.
Hole-specific out-of-bounds boundaries
OB markers between holes 11/12 apply only to hole 11; between 15/16 only to hole 15; otherwise those posts are immovable obstructions.
Protected trees are no-play areas
Trees identified by support stakes or protective netting are no-play areas; relief under Rule 16.1f.
Stone walls are integral objects
Stone walls are integral parts of the course.
Standard Local Rule E-5
For a lost or out-of-bounds ball, the club permits the two-stroke fairway drop option under Standard Local Rule E-5.
