Penalty areas and drop zones
The red penalty areas on holes 5, 7 and 8 and the yellow penalty area on hole 4 each have an additional drop-zone option. The player may drop in the marked zone with one penalty stroke.
Out of bounds and restricted penalty area
Out of bounds includes the listed roads behind hole 1, beside hole 7 and beside hole 9. The biozone between holes 2 and 3 is a penalty area that players may not enter to search for or play a ball.
Abnormal ground and preferred lie
Ground under repair marked by blue stakes or spray is no-play. The official page also defines listed immovable obstructions and allows a one-time, no-penalty placement on closely mown areas within the scorecard-length relief area, not nearer the hole.
