Aeration holes
Aeration holes: relief under Rule 16.1b in the general area or Rule 16.1d on the putting green; stance-only interference does not qualify.
Out of bounds
Out of bounds: external fences and hedges, white markers left of holes 1 and 2, and specified clubhouse, practice-area and 18th-green boundaries.
Internal out of bounds
Internal out of bounds applies only on the hole being played to specified white/blue marker lines near holes 10, 12, 13, 14 and 17.
Abnormal course conditions
Immovable obstructions include fixed sprinklers, artificial roads and paths, the public footpath at hole 17, Members Memorial Garden and bell posts; relief under Rule 16.1b.
GUR and no play zones
White-line GUR and the newly constructed bunkers/right of the 16th green are GUR and no play zones; use Rule 16.1b and the marked drop zone where specified.
Staked trees
Staked young trees are no play zones; relief under Rule 16.1f is required when they interfere outside a penalty area.
Cleaning ball and six-inch preferred lies
A ball in fairway-height-or-less general-area grass may be cleaned and replaced. Preferred lies allow one placement within 6 inches, not nearer the hole and in the general area.
