Local Rules
Out of bounds between holes 1 and 9
Out of bounds is defined by white stakes and fence posts with white tops. During play of holes 1 and 9, the area outside the boundary between the holes is out of bounds.
Infinite red penalty areas on holes 3, 4, 5 and 6
The red penalty areas defined on one side are infinite: left of hole 3 and right of holes 4, 5 and 6.
Free relief from electric boundary fence
When the ball is on the course and within two club-lengths of the electric boundary fence, free relief is available under Rule 16.1 using the specified reference point.
Abnormal ground conditions and integral stone walls
Blue stakes or white spray lines identify ground under repair; blue stakes with green tops identify no-play zones. Anthills, deep bunker ruts and exposed rock at fairway height qualify as abnormal conditions. Stone walls are integral objects and loose stones may not be removed.

Protected areas Biotopes and no-play zones can remove the direct line and require rule-based relief. Boundary holes Out of bounds affects holes 9, 10 and 13–18, including roads and paths on 17 and 18.
