Model Local Rule E-5
Where the club has adopted Model Local Rule E-5, a ball lost outside a penalty area or out of bounds may be played under the published two-stroke alternative; confirm the current notice before using it.
Course marking and relief rules
White stakes mark out of bounds; red or yellow stakes mark penalty areas; blue stakes mark ground under repair. Fixed distance markers and signs are immovable obstructions under Rule 16.1.
Private areas and immovable objects
