Local Rules
Immovable obstructions
The water tank on hole 3, concrete/asphalt roads and paths, blue-taped young trees and their beds, and drainage sumps in front greens are immovable obstructions under Rule 16.1.
Ground under repair
GUR includes areas marked by blue stakes, white ground lines, piled grass, drainage trenches with soil or gravel, and deep vehicle or machinery ruts.
No-play zones
Flowerbeds in the general area, the nursery near holes 16 and 17, and the croquet court between holes 10, 12 and 13 are no-play zones; take free relief under Rule 16.1f.
Code of conduct
The RCG Castiello Code of Conduct applies under Rule 1.2b.
Missing certification penalty
Under Model Local Rule L-1, returning a card without certification by the player, marker or both incurs the general penalty: two strokes in stroke play or loss of hole in match play.
Suspension signals
Dangerous suspension is one prolonged siren blast; normal suspension is three short blasts; resumption is two short blasts. Practice areas close during a dangerous suspension.
Out of bounds and internal out on hole 10
Out of bounds is defined by the inside line of white stakes and fence posts, white boundary lines, and the inside face of boundary walls or curbs. On hole 10, the entire right side marked by white stakes or lines is internal out of bounds; those stakes are immovable obstructions when playing another hole.
Integrated paths and retaining sleepers
All unpaved paths and trails, their sleepers and curbs are integral parts of the course and do not provide free relief.
