Out of bounds is defined by ground beyond the course boundary. White lines include the line itself; fences or stakes use their inside edges.
Water hazards and lateral water hazards
Water hazards include lakes, ponds, rivers, ditches, streams and other open water. Yellow stakes or lines define water hazards; red stakes or lines define lateral water hazards.
