An embedded ball may be dropped within one club-length except obstruction or hazard.
integral
Stone walls and uncovered paths are integral objects with no free relief.
mud
A clearly muddy ball in rough may be cleaned and replaced after marking.
ob
Out of bounds is marked by white lines, stakes, walls and fences.
penalty
Wrong-place breach carries the general penalty under Rule 14.7a.
preferred
A fairway ball may be placed within 20 centimetres, not nearer the hole.
