Infinite penalty areas at holes 15 and 16
The red penalty areas on the left of holes 15 and 16, defined on one side only, extend infinitely.
Electric boundary fence relief
A ball on the course within one club-length of the electric boundary fence may take relief under Rule 16.1 without penalty, using the one-club-length point at the same distance from the target as reference.
Blue-green stakes no-play zone
Areas identified by blue stakes with a green top are ground under repair and a no-play zone.
Ground under repair markings
All areas identified by blue stakes or otherwise marked as ground under repair are covered by the abnormal course condition rule.
Exposed rock and washed-out bunkers
Exposed rock at fairway height or lower and bunker areas with deep grooves caused by running water are ground under repair.
White spray-line boundary
A white spray line around an area defines the boundary of ground under repair.
Ant hills
Large or hard ant hills may be treated, at the player’s choice, as loose impediments or ground under repair.
Stopped robotic mower
A robotic mower that has stopped and is stationary is an immovable manufactured object from which relief without penalty is allowed under Rule 16.1.
