Out of bounds — Wensum Course
The specified white-stake, reservoir and river boundaries are out of bounds during the named holes.
Provisional ball for penalty area
A provisional ball may be played under the stated modified Rule 18.3 options when it is uncertain whether the original ball is in a penalty area.
No-play zone — hole 14
The white-lined area on hole 14 is a no-play zone treated as an abnormal course condition; relief is mandatory under Rule 16.1f.
Bird dung
Bird dung may be treated either as a loose impediment or as ground under repair from which relief is allowed.
Roads and paths
All roads and paths, including unsurfaced ones, are immovable obstructions and free relief is available under Rule 16.1.
