Out of bounds
Beyond boundary fences, hedges, walls, white posts or white lines is out of bounds.
Staked trees and ground under repair
Staked trees are no-play zones. White-lined or roped areas, blue stakes, deep tractor marks and drainage cuts are ground under repair.
Bunker ground under repair
A bunker marked as ground under repair is treated as ground under repair.
Penalty areas and Hole 11 provisional ball
Yellow and red penalty areas apply as marked; unmarked ditches are red. Hole 11 has a special provisional-ball procedure.
Immovable obstructions
Steps, bridges, paths, roads and tracks, seats, ball washers, distance stones and fixed sprinklers are immovable obstructions.
Temporary rules and breach penalty
Temporary Local Rules are on the notice board. Breach is loss of hole in match play or two strokes in stroke play.
