Young tree protection
Young trees with support stakes are no-play zones and require relief under Rules 16.1f or 17.1e.
Two-stroke lost or out-of-bounds relief
For a ball not found or known or virtually certain to be out of bounds, a two-stroke fairway-reference relief option applies within the defined limits.
Ground under repair
Exposed rock at fairway height, washed bunker furrows, white spray lines, wild-boar damage and large/hard anthills qualify as GUR under stated limits.
Immovable obstructions
Orange-marked objects are immovable obstructions with free relief under Rule 16.1; connected white spray-line areas share that status.
Penalty for wrong place
Playing from the wrong place in breach of the local rule carries the general penalty under Rule 14.7a.
General local-rule penalty
Unless stated otherwise, breach carries the general penalty: loss of hole in match play or two strokes in stroke play.
