Out of bounds
White stakes or lines, perimeter walls and fences define out of bounds; hole 3 left boundary applies only to hole 3.
Penalty area: hole 17 drop zone
For a ball in the yellow penalty area on hole 17, Rule 17.1d options apply, with an additional marked drop zone before the lake.
Ground under repair
Areas enclosed by blue or white stakes or lines are ground under repair.
Immovable obstructions
Paths and their drainage channels are one immovable obstruction; bunker drainage ruts and related sunken areas are included.
Integral objects
The stone pyramid on hole 4 and natural wall on hole 3 give no free relief; tree trenches and pits are integral.
Preferred lies
For a ball in fairway-height or shorter grass, one club-length placing relief is allowed, no nearer the hole and in the general area.
Penalty for breach of local rules
Unless otherwise specified, the general penalty applies: loss of hole in match play or two strokes in stroke play.
