Out of bounds is beyond course walls, fences, white stakes or white lines; at holes 12 and 14, a ball beyond the fence behind the green is out of bounds even if it lies on another part of the course. At hole 11, a penalty-area ball may use the marked drop zone on the technical-room roof. Young trees marked by support stakes are no-play zones. Railway sleepers behind hole 13 green and beside hole 8 green are integral objects. All course roads and paths are immovable obstructions with free relief. Siren signals govern suspension and resumption; breach carries the general penalty.
