Local Rules
Alternating Starts
Players arriving at the 10th tee should drive off alternately with players waiting to begin their round.
Stones in Bunkers
Stones in bunkers may be removed as movable obstructions under Rule 24-1.
Out of Bounds
OOB is outside boundary fences, over boundary hedges/ditches, outside white posts, Park Lake when playing the 8th, and past the fence marking the putting-green area.
Water Hazards
Yellow markers identify water hazards, including Park Lake on the 9th hole.
Lateral Water Hazards
Red markers identify lateral water hazards.
Plugged Balls
A plugged fairway ball may be lifted, cleaned and dropped not nearer the hole without penalty; a plugged ball on a green is lifted and placed not nearer the hole.
Winter Rules
Normally 1 November–30 April, a fairway ball may be lifted, cleaned and placed within six inches, not nearer the hole; rough/semi-rough balls are played as lies.
Staked or Wired Trees
If a protected tree interferes with stance or intended swing, lift without penalty and drop within one club-length of nearest relief, not nearer the hole.
Paths
All paths within bounds are integral parts of the course.
Wooden Edges and Sprinklers
Wooden pathway edges and fixed sprinkler heads are immovable obstructions with Rule 24-2 relief.

Major Risks
Park Lake The lake is a defined hazard on specific holes. Protected trees Staked or wired trees can require mandatory relief. Hilltop exposure Elevation and open views can make wind and distance judgement less predictable.
Blue Tee Strategy
Confirm current tees and playing times. Reassess the line when holes are repeated from new tees. Plan around Park Lake and protected trees. Think two nines ahead
