Abnormal Conditions
Animal holes, GUR, immovable obstructions and temporary water qualify for free relief under Rules 15 and 16.
Local Rule Scope
Local Rules apply to all course areas and must be checked against the current noticeboard before play.
Artificial Bunker Faces
Artificial bunker faces are integral parts; free relief for stance or swing interference is not allowed.
Paths
All roads and paths, including worn bridge approaches, are immovable obstructions with Rule 16.1 relief.
Out of Bounds - General
Natural boundaries such as fences, hedges, ditches and woods, plus white posts, define OOB; boundary objects give no relief.
Out of Bounds - Specific
Specific OOB includes bird sanctuary, firing range, cemetery, putting green, car park, clubhouse/pavements, and named hole-side hedges/fences/ditches/paths.
Penalty Areas
The page identifies the entire hedge as within the penalty area.
Temporary Local Rules
At the published temporary-rule date, the ditch between 8th and 16th greens and damaged turf left/rear of 1st green are GUR; winter rules not in operation.
