Provisional ball — Parkbanan hole 4
On Parkbanan hole 4, a provisional ball may be played when it is uncertain whether the original is in the penalty area; the rule specifies what happens if the original is found within three minutes.
Unmarked ditches are red penalty areas
All unmarked ditches are treated as red penalty areas.
Skogsbanan hole 10 penalty area
The red penalty area on the left from the tee on Skogsbanan hole 10 is infinite where it is defined on only one side.
Penalty area between Skogsbanan holes 12 and 7
The entire marked area between Skogsbanan holes 12 and 7 is a red penalty area.
Ground under repair and no-play zones
Blue-staked areas are ground under repair; blue stakes with green tops define no-play zones treated as ground under repair, with relief under Rule 16.1f.
Additional ground under repair conditions
The rule covers white spray lines, bunker washout furrows, ant hills, exposed stones or rock on closely mown areas, gravel drainage strips and specified turf seams.
Immovable manufactured objects
The rule treats connected white spray-line areas, supported young trees, distance plates and a stationary robot mower or charging station as immovable obstructions, with relief under Rule 16.1 where applicable.
